Company history

January 1999

Setting up Citynet Media S.C., as well as creating and launching several dozen specialised industry web portals (including Opony.com.pl).

October 2003

Its creation was accompanied by the purchase of domains closely connected with the tyre industry and internet sales.Many employees responsible for tyre services were transferred from Citynet Media into the new company.

December 2004

Achieving net profitability (after 14 months). Opony.com Sp. z.o.o. has got over 20.000 registered customers.

November 2006

The sale of 35.000 tyres within one month and over 80.000 registered customers.

December 2006

Opony.com Sp. z.o.o. changed its name to OPONEO.PL Sp. z.o.o.

March 2007

OPONEO.PL Sp. z.o.o. transforms into OPONEO.PL S.A.

September 2007

OPONEO.PL S.A. made its debut on the WSE.

October 2007

The share capital had been increased to 12.676.000 PLN.

February 2010

An acquisition of the biggest competitor in Internet sales on the Polish market.

July 2011

The share capital increased by new shares of the serie C and reached the amount of 13.936.000 PLN.
